If you often wake up during the night or in the morning sweating, you are probably experiencing an ailment known as sleep hyperhidrosis, also called night sweats. Antiperspirants - Products containing aluminum chloride hexahydrate can be beneficial.
Iontophoresis - This process involves injecting certain chemicals into the skin with the use of an electrical current. This procedure can reduce sweat in certain parts of the body.
Botox - The use of Botox can effectively reduce sweating.
Anticholinergic - This group of drugs may be used to reduce or stop the sweating.
Endoscopic Thoracic Sympathectomy (ETS) - The ETS procedure is controversial and is therefore used as a last resort for those patients suffering with excessive sweating.
